At FUMC, we take Christian Education seriously! Join us on Sunday mornings for adult classes.

Sunday School

Adults meet in the library and study different books or DVD series. There is great discussion and a great fellowship If you are looking for a place to learn, a place to feel welcome and a place to become part of a family of believers, this is the place for you. Classes are led by a rotating schedule of lay people.

Nursery

We have a comfortable, loving staff of volunteers ready to nurture your babies newborn – kindergarten in our soothing nursery. All of our volunteers in the Christian Education department have Safe Sanctuary Training and criminal and child abuse history clearances. You can rest assured that your littlest blessing will be safe, secure and pampered with our caring staff.

Bible Studies

Pastor Connie invites you to join her for a Bible study during lent beginning Wednesday, February 21 through Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at 3:30-4:30 pm. There will be a book to go with it titled, “The Lives we Actually Have” at the cost of $10 and a study guide which will be included. There will be a reading from the book and a page to complete in the study guide each day. Be sure to pick up the book and study guide from the church office by Wednesday, February 14 because preparation for the study will start on that date. February 14 will be on Ash Wednesday so you can pick the items up at the worship service on that date as well. It will be a good study and won’t want to miss it. Sign up by February 4 in the church office or in the back of the sanctuary.

Class Meetings

If you are looking for a more intimate setting to grow together, nurture each other and discuss life, consider a class meeting. To discuss which meeting may be the one for you, contact Pastor Connie.
