The Doers Circle is open to anyone who is interested in doing hands on projects that benefit women, children and youth and are part of United Methodist Women. We meet on the first Wednesday of each month from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. to work on projects; support each other with prayer and fellowship and discuss events and concerns of the larger United Methodist Women’s organization.
Our current and ongoing project is the assembling of reusable sanitary napkins for distribution in Zimbabwe. We are open to other projects – local, national or international that benefit our target group.
Everyone is welcome to join us whenever they are available to participate.
We hope to see you soon!Find out more »
These projects are given to anyone in need of comfort, whether for illness, injury, suffering from loss or in-the-midst of a crisis. They are also given as a celebration blessing, such as for a marriage, birth or a milestone birthday.
Before each project is delivered it is prayed over by the ministry team who created it.
Ways to become Involved:
You can knit or crochet a project, or work on a fleece blanket
You can share the name of someone in need of our projects
You can pray for those who create our projects
You can support the ministry financially to help with the purchase of supplies
If you don’t knit or crochet…we can teach you!
Pattern idea cards are located on the bulletin board in Room 103.
